I want you to think of your personality as a shirt that you’ve been wearing since you were a kid.
All of us are given a shirt at some point in time. Either it’s the not smart enough shirt, or the not pretty enough shirt, it could be the not good enough, the overweight or the bad at math shirt.
Whatever it is, it’s old, dirty, and completely worn out.
Your personality is one of the most malleable things out there yet you’ve been acting like it’s a piece of concrete that you’re stuck with forever.
That thing, that you’ve been holding onto for your entire life, that thing that’s made you feel insecure, isolated, depressed and unworthy is just something that somebody once said to you that most probably wasn’t true.
And still, you wear that shirt every single day.
So my question to you is, what shirt are you wearing?
By wearing it, you’re creating the reality around you. Your thoughts create your reality, so what shirt you’re wearing changes the way that you react to people, and that changes the way that they react to you!
If you’re wearing your, ‘I’m too ugly’ shirt, people will see that. They’ll see your lack of confidence and that will change the way they react to you.
What if you changed that shirt, decide to wear a new one?
The hard part won’t be making that decision, it’ll be putting on that shirt every single day.
You can’t just put it on once and expect it to stay. The brain likes to hold onto old habits. It’s very easy for the brain to continue to do what it’s always done, and extremely hard for it to change. So you have to change your shirt and your perception every single day; it’s a complete reprogramming!

When you do something over and over and over, your perception will shift, but you have to be diligent.
It will be difficult, you’ll have days where you doubt yourself, but the transition of who you are into who you want to be is not impossible.
Stop accepting the shirt you’re currently wearing as your truth. It no longer serves a purpose, choose one that does.
